Anatomy of the Triceps

In athletics one of the most important muscles that should be developed are the triceps. The triceps are a muscle group that contain three heads:

  • long head
  • medial head
  • lateral head

I had a great week this past week, and I was even more excited about getting back on the mats today for jiu-jitsu.  I woke up this morning feeling great, the sun was shining bright in Columbus and I had just finished a stretching session that left me feeling like a billion bucks.

Today couldn’t have gone better and then, the unthinkable happened…I suffered a pretty devastating shoulder injury.
