As you noticed in part 1 of this series I pointed out that I loved back squatting. It’s a statement that has commonly come out of the mouths of my athletes and my colleagues that share in my love for back squatting. But I never took the time to get to the root of the issue, but after reflecting on my love for back squatting the light bulb finally came on and I was able to discover some interesting issues.

The Influence of Your Legacy

The actions that an athlete takes will form the images and emotions that people see and feel when they hear about this athlete 25, 50 and even 100 years from now. An athlete’s legacy is What they will be remembered for in both their respective sport and their life.

Your legacy is the aura that surrounds you and which allows for you to have a strong impact on others not just with your words…but mostly with your actions.

 

Most learning occurs through visual observation and very little comes from audible monologue. 

Every action you take today will influence the actions of millions of people tomorrow.
