Why do you call yourself “The Kinetic Guru”?
This is a question I’ve been asked on many occasions when people see the name. So I will give you my primary two reasons:
- Passion
- Branding
PASSION
I have a strong passion for education and learning. Over the years I have dissolved my habit of 6-8 hours a day of television watching into a habit of reading and learning. I was not always a big reader. The main reason is because most of the things that I “had” to read were of no interest to me.
One observation that my professors, parents and friends made was that when I put my intention on something, nothing or no one could stand in my way. But if I wasn’t passionate about it then I didn’t give it my attention. This was an all or nothing attitude that I had to mature and grow out of.
After making a major change from engineering to education I found my passion and met a lot of people along the road that help to affirm that I was on the right path. Once I found my personal “path of passion” my enthusiasm for learning went through the roof.
I started to read any and every book that I thought and felt would help me along my journey. I spent more time reading and taking action and less time watching television and complaining. As a result I improved my skills and used my social influence to teach others whenever given the opportunity in order to help them find their own “path of passion”.
When you examine the word guru, it is Sanskrit term that describes…
…one who is regarded as having great knowledge, wisdom and authority in a certain area, and who uses it to guide others from the darkness of ignorance to the light of knowledge.
A guru is simply a teacher with a passion to serve others. With this:
“I read to learn, learn to teach, teach to serve, serve to inspire, inspire so that I can help others find their own “path of passion” which leads them to their legacy.”
Kinetic is a term that pertains to action which through growth leads to continuous evolution.
So when I call myself the “Kinetic Guru” I am simply saying that:
“I AM a teacher who seeks to continually evolve through growth and maturity while teaching others to do the same.”
BRANDING
The name Robert T. Williams is such a common name that I had to figure out a way to distinguish between myself and the other Robert Williams out there. The nature of my ability to serve and inspire is to continually evolve and grow, because when you’re not progressing and growing then you’re regressing and dying.
So with this…
Let me, help you find your “path of passion” so that you can LIVE YOUR LEGACY!
